Traditional Medicine Gave Up On Me, Told Me “It Was All In My Head”, And Labeled Me A “Hopeless Case”...

I Hope That This Does Not Describe You!

 Dear Vertigo Victim,

Reading this free report may be the most important thing you've done all year.  Why?  Because there are currently new treatments available for people suffering with vertigo/balance disorders.  The information in this free report is vital if you want to avoid years of pain, suffering, and misery.  And the sooner you get started, the sooner you get better, and the less likely the chance of recurrence, or worse still, waiting so long that the treatment be not be as beneficial. So slowly read this report from beginning to end!

Let's get started...

There are many causes of vertigo and dizziness.  Fortunately, chances are good that if you are reading this report, you probably have already been evaluated by several specialists who have already ruled out the more ominous causes by now.  You see, most specialists, as well as primary care doctors, evaluate patients looking for serious and often times life threatening conditions.  When they do not find them, you are cordially told that there is nothing wrong that I can see, and you are sent on your way.  Well, although this is certainly good news to hear, the problem still remains as to “Why do I feel the way I do” "Why am I still dizzy" and “What do I do about it?” Often times you may be given an anti-vertigo drug, (typically Antivert, or Meclizine), which although will actually help some people reduce dizziness symptoms some of the time, typically it does not.  In fact, often times Meclizine will worsen the problem.  You see, if you look up anti-vertigo drugs in the Physicians Desk Reference, the bible of drug interactions, dizziness is one of the main side affects of anti-dizziness drugs such as Meclizine.  Many of you reading this report have probably been told this by the referring doctor, if they were honest with you in the first place.  So, the  more serious causes of vertigo and dizziness, things like tumors, vascular strokes, etc., are typically ruled out with diagnostic imaging, (MRI, CT scan, etc).

The Problem Is That The More Common Causes Of Vertigo and Dizziness Are Almost Never Apparent On MRI Or CT Scan

That's one big reason why most doctors don't detect the cause of vertigo... they over-rely on testing that when without demonstration of a problem, means there simply is no problem.  Very few doctors actually have the training, or the necessary sophisticated diagnostic equipment, to detect the more common causes of vertigo and dizziness when not related to more severe causes.  Although most medical doctors are well trained in overt pathology, (tumors, strokes, MS, etc.), the fact of the matter is that most human suffering is not from overt pathology, it is from deviations in the brain and bodies normal physiology, which, as compared to “shades of gray” is not black or white.  If you are only looking for black or white, (is it a disease or not), you are going to miss the “shades of gray” that are the real “tell” for diagnosing and treating your illness, particularly when it comes to vertigo and dizziness.  (Did I mention that vertigo and dizziness are one of the top three reasons why patients visit their primary care provider in the first place?).

Since many doctors can't detect your injury, they make the wrong diagnosis about what's wrong with you.  So any treatments you get based on this diagnosis will do practically nothing for you, or perhaps, make you worse!

The Simple Truth About The Appropriateness Of Drug Therapy For Vertigo And Dizziness

Let's assume you are experiencing vertigo or dizziness.  How will your doctor attempt to treat you?  Well, rather than go after the cause of the dizziness he or she can't find (your doctor will never admit they don't know what they're doing), he or she's going to attempt to treat your dizziness symptoms with drugs.  (50% of patients complaining of dizziness in a primary care setting do not get a diagnosis, yet 70% receive a prescription for Meclizine).  Now, don’t get me wrong.  Occasionally these drugs help, especially if the drug was an antibiotic, and the cause of dizziness was a bacterial, (non-viral) inner ear infection, (If it is viral, antibiotics will make you worse).  But if that were the case, you would not be reading this report right now.  Now, we already discussed how anti-vertigo drugs typically prescribed would possibly worsen the problem.  In addition to causing lethargy, the drug’s tendency is to produce a slowing effect on reaction time equal to a blood alcohol level of .04 to .06%.  This reduced reaction time is a leading cause of falls, especially in the elderly.  Falls, cause hip fractures, shoulder fractures, strokes, etc.  Nearly 50% of elderly patients admitted for hip fractures become chronic patients.  Nearly 50% of elderly patients admitted for hip fractures die within one year.  If all of this isn’t enough, Meclizine is known to hinder the natural vestibular compensation process, meaning not only doesn’t it help; it actually retards the natural recovery process.  That's not to mention the side effects of using these drugs.  You see, all drugs have side affects.  In addition to that, all drugs have to be absorbed into your system, and cleared from your system.  Depending on the drug, you may run into serious kidney, stomach, or liver problems as a result of popping these drugs just to get through a day of work.  Often, certain classes of drugs will even cause new problems.

Personally, I am not sure why someone would use drug therapy as their first attempt to cure the problem, and resort to more logical measures later.  This is sort of like attempting to put out a fire with gasoline, and then after several repeated failed attempts, trying water, after the fire is much worse.

Why Has No One Been Able To Detect A Cause Of My Dizziness Problem?

There are actually very few doctors who have the specialization and sophisticated diagnostic equipment necessary to properly assess, much less treat, patients with vertigo and dizziness.  You see, the 90’s have been referred to as the decade of the brain.  As such, tremendous research has been released regarding these types of brain based dizziness disorders, causes, and how to treat and manage them, appropriately.  And there simply just aren’t a plentiful number of providers who are trained to do this.

Discover RIGHT NOW Why You Suffer From Vertigo And Dizziness!

Vertigo can be an extremely serious and incapacitating problem.  Unfortunately, medical science is under-trained and unequipped to diagnose and treat many cases with any measure of success.  This is a giant health care problem in this country, considering the number of people who have suffered from balance disorder syndromes including vertigo and dizziness.

The sooner you find the actual cause of your dizziness, the sooner you can start a treatment plan to get rid of it and get you out of misery.  Wouldn't it be nice to finally be dizziness-free and living your life the same way you did before the dizziness took it over?

Isn't that nice?  Wouldn't you rather be healthy and alive once again, rather than living life dizzy, in pain misery, and frustration?  Aren't you tired of going to your doctor again and again, and never getting better?  Do you know how many patients I have already seen and helped, who have been bed and house ridden for years because of disabling vertigo and dizziness?  There are many doctors who are not even aware that there are better treatments for dizziness out there available to you.  Conversely and unfortunately, you see, your doctor may know there are better treatments out there available to you, but they also may believe that if they tell you that, you may never come back to see them!

Well, I help patients every day with conditions just like yours, in fact, probably worse. You see, a large part of my practice is devoted just to vertigo, dizziness and dystonia, (as well as other neurologic conditions, such as ADD ADHD), cases other doctors have had no success with or simply given up on. Cases just like yours.

I spend countless hours every week treating patients with dizziness just like you, bringing the latest and the very best advances in dizziness treatment to my office.  I spend countless hours in training in neurology every month, to learn what the most recent research in neurologic treatments offers in the management of these conditions.

I Have Over 1000 Hours In Postgraduate Training In Postdoctoral Neurology.

My name is Dr. Scopelliti, Clinic Director of Monmouth Chiropractic Neurology Center here in Long Branch, New Jersey.  My office is located at the Professional Arts Bldg attached to Monmouth Medical Center.

I've spent years training to diagnose and manage vertigo and dizziness victims just like you, as well as patients with numerous other neurologic conditions.  In fact, that's why I wrote this FREE report on dizziness.  Quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of victims going through years of pain and misery all because no one ever bothered to tell them there are other options.  I’m proud to say that I've been able to help almost everyone who I've accepted as a patient.  Because of the validity of the types of treatments I provide, one third of my practice is referred to me from area physicians who believe in and understand the type of work I perform.

What Are Video Nystagmography & Posturography?  Why Is This One Of The Best Ways To Detect A Problem With Vertigo And Dizziness?

The equipment I typically use, following a thorough clinical history and neurologic examination is called “VNG” & CAPS.  Originally designed to aid in the diagnosis of vestibular problems, (vertigo), what VNG does is accurately record eye movements on video for real time observation.  Subtle breakdown of normal movements, (of the oculomotor system), can be detected and correlated to the cause of your dizziness.  CAPS does the same thing with regards to postural stability, assessing risk of fall, imbalance, and problems with mechanisms of stability.  Once the cause of dizziness is determined, a treatment plan can be proposed, from which most will respond well if treatment is properly followed.  Occasionally, further procedures must be done to gather more information about the cause of dizziness.  Rest assured that any testing performed within my office, is non-invasive, and not painful.

P.S. - Don't forget, many doctors are not trained to diagnose or treat most causes of vertigo and dizziness.  So, if you DO suffer from dizziness, have been unsuccessfully treated with drug therapy, almost any treatment your doctor is giving you may be ineffective for dizziness and may even be harmful-to you!

P.P.S. - The quicker you are accurately diagnosed, typically, the easier it will be to treat.  That means you'll be out of misery faster and back to living your life the way it was before.
